Tracking the subtle shifts in space and time that slip past notice yet leave the marks and gradual changes that ultimately become history.
An exhibition examining the distortions, erasures, and accumulations inscribed across bodies, landscapes, objects, memories, and architectures — the incremental shifts in space and time that typically evade detection yet leave measurable evidence of how we come to inhabit the world.
L’ART hosts this presentation in collaboration with Monika Drabot, bringing her investigation of subtle spatial and temporal transformations into direct dialogue with the gallery’s own environment.
Monika Drabot earned her MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts and her BA (Hons) in Photography from Arts University Bournemouth. Her practice centres on the mundane, the overlooked, and the unseen, often unfolding through visual storytelling across installations, photobooks, and photographic works. She has received recognition including the Source Magazine Graduate Photobook Award and the Anne Corkett Prize for Photography, and has been shortlisted for the Pride of Guernsey Award for Arts Contribution of the Year and longlisted for the Aesthetica Art Prize 2025
